Tagmin is committed to protecting the privacy of its users. This is the Privacy Policy for Tagmin's free YesNo tool - and sets out the type of data that we collect, what it is used for and the rights you have in relation to this information.

Casting Directors: In order to create an account a Casting Director needs to provide their company name and an official email address as well as creating a username and a password. They can also upload an optional logo. The only other data a Casting Director can add themselves is a Project name, role name, role status and role notes. Project names are not shown to the talent or agents who use this tool, the role name is, but can be hidden as well if needed. We may store technical information such as your browser, device type and IP address, in order to supply and improve the service, as well as to offer support. You acknowledge that we may email you in order to facilitate your account management, offer support and to inform you of changes to the services we offer.

Actors and Agents: In order to use the service, an actor or agent does not need to create an account. The only personal information we collect is an optional email address, for those who opt in to receiving automatic role status updates. Those who opt in can also opt out. We may store technical information such as your browser, device type and IP address, in order to supply and improve the service, as well as to offer support. You acknowledge that we may email you in order to facilitate your account management, offer support and to inform you of changes to the services we offer.

The company and its employees process “personal data” (as defined in UK data protection legislation) in the provision of its software, any associated services and/or its own administration.

Although data may be processed outside the UK (as you may use the system abroad), the jurisdiction over such information remains in the UK as this is where the data is processed and stored. The software is stored on UK servers and accessed remotely by users who are responsible for the data therein. 

In accordance with legislation we have completed a cookie audit on our website. We use these internet files with Matomo Analytics to monitor and improve our website, but we cannot accept any responsibility for any processing by these sites.

We may share data with any third party as part of our services and / or unless required to do so by UK law. We cannot accept any responsibility for any processing conducted by a third party outside our remit.

None of the above affects your rights under the legislation, in particular your right to access the data we hold on you.

If you wish to request a copy of your data, please submit it in writing/email to the Company.

Please include enough information to enable us to identify you and search for appropriate data. If you are dissatisfied with this policy, have queries about our data protection procedures or wish to lodge a complaint, please contact the company in the first instance.
